Valery Miroshnikov built a career in banking before leaving the DIA in 2019 to turn to real estate investing.
Valery Miroshnikov spent more than two decades at the center of Russia’s effort to keep its banking sector on its feet, moving from a Junior Inspector role at the Central Bank into some of the highest posts at the agency responsible for insuring household deposits. Over the years, his career came to intersect with nearly every major banking crisis the country faced, from the 1998 collapse to the turmoil of 2008. In July 2019, he left the Deposit Insurance Agency after roughly fifteen years in senior leadership, turning his attention to real estate investment.
