Anna and Tim Robards have relisted the lavish apartment they bought off the plan in 2021

Bachelor couple Anna and Tim Robards have launched a fresh bid to offload their luxury Gold Coast apartment, chasing a $1.75m uplift on what they paid for the beachfront pad.

The celebrity pair bought the three-bedroom residence at Burleigh Heads’ newly completed Mondrian off the plan for just over $2m in 2021.

After listing the property just months after settlement last year and ultimately deciding to hold onto it, the unit is now back on the market with new agents and a hefty $3.75m price guide.

The couple fell in love in the first season of The Bachelor Australia in 2013 and were married in Italy in 2018.

They moved into the lavish tower mid last year with daughters Elle and Ruby, after waiting years for its completion.

The fourth-floor oceanview property at 405/58 The Esplanade has been relisted with Highland Gold Coast agent Hanan Cawley, and Sam Schumann, of Highland Double Bay Malouf.

“They love the apartment and the healthy Gold Coast lifestyle, but family circumstances are bringing them back to Sydney more full time,” Mr Cawley said.

“They have been bouncing between Gold Coast and Sydney this year, having tested the waters earlier in the year with listing the property but decided to hold onto it a little longer.

“They now intend to return to Sydney full time to be closer to family, prompting the sale.”

Mondrian at Burleigh Heads was completed in 2025

The apartment’s contemporary interiors are anchored by an open-plan kitchen, living and dining zone complete with natural stone benchtops, Miele appliances, and a butler’s pantry, which opens to a protected alfresco balcony.

It spans 186 sqm with three generously proportioned bedrooms, including the main with a walk-in robe and wet-room-style ensuite.

As Queensland’s first branded hotel-residential hybrid, Mondrian units come with five-star resident perks including valet parking, housekeeping, room service, and an airport chauffeur, along with use of the resort’s pool, gym, sauna, yoga garden, lounge, and concierge.

The agents said Mr Robards had been investing in real estate since his late teens, with the couple building a portfolio of properties across Sydney and Queensland.

They splurged about $6m on a modern house in Dover Heights in 2022, selling off a two-bedroom apartment in nearby Rose Bay for $2.7m the same year.

REA Group data shows Burleigh Heads’ median apartment price was up 22.6 per cent over the past year to $1,887,500.
