Unprecedented demand means construction on one of Adelaide’s most exciting new apartment complexes will now commence ahead of schedule.
Hitting the market less than a month ago, Fairland’s Canopy Apartments at St James in Kidman Park has proven such a hit with buyers looking to secure an affordable slice of the Great Australian Dream more than a third of its architecturally designed apartments have already sold.
Priced from $595,000, Canopy Apartments has proven a hit with buyers, with the pace and volume of sales giving Fairland the confidence to start construction on the western suburbs project earlier than planned.
Project director Aleck Whitham said he was thrilled with the uptake.

The project – the developer’s first apartment venture – is aimed at providing first homeowners greater choice and a lower-priced entry point.
Mr Whitham said the complex would play an important part in making the development a welcoming and vibrant community.

The complex, positioned near St James’ commercial precinct including food, retail, childcare, healthcare and other neighbourhood amenities, will be designed by SA’s Jabba Design and created by Built MG, with each apartment featuring a carpark; with bicycle bays for residents and visitor parking.

The overall development, which sits on 11ha between the city and then sea, will feature around 300 homes, and incorporate 1.6ha of open space.
St James will feature turnkey detached, terrace and apartment homes by some of SA’s most awarded builders, including Metricon, Regent Homes, Bradford Homes, Weeks, Urban Habitats, Sterling Homes, Normus Homes and Brazzale.
