After keeping audiences waiting, the trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Udta Teer is finally set to arrive on September 23. The makers have officially announced the trailer date, building anticipation around the upcoming comedy-action entertainer.
The makers had earlier introduced the film with a quirky first poster featuring Ayushmann’s character caught between India and Pakistan, along with the line, “Deshbhakti toh yaad hai… par desh nahi.” The unusual introduction hinted at the film’s comic spin on patriotism, espionage and cross-border chaos.
With the trailer now arriving on September 23, audiences will finally get a closer look at the story, characters and the chemistry between Ayushmann and Sara. The trailer is also expected to give a clearer glimpse into Akash A Kaushik’s take on the spy-comedy space. Udta Teer marks another collaboration between Ayushmann and Sara after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.
Directed by Akash A Kaushik, Udta Teer brings Ayushmann and Sara together in what appears to be an unconventional take on the spy genre. The film is backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment and is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 9.
