Rochester, N.Y. — New surveillance video shared with 13WHAM News shows an apparent burglary at a <a href="https://industrymovement.com/how-dolly-partons-business-acumen-helped-her-succeed-far-beyond-the-charts/” title=”How Dolly Parton's business acumen helped her succeed far beyond the charts”>business in Rochester.

The footage shows several people taking city garbage cans and using them to steal merchandise from FOMO on South Avenue during the early morning hours of Aug. 20, according to store owner Krista Haney.

Rochester Police Capt. Greg Bello said officers responded to the store around 4:40 a.m. that morning for a report of an open front door. When officers arrived, they found the door damaged and determined property had been stolen from inside.

The business said on social media that a majority of its merchandise was taken. Haney said 181 designer items worth roughly $160,000 were stolen.

Police said the burglary remains under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

This is a developing story. Tune into 13WHAM News at 10:00 and 11:00 to hear from the store’s owner on the incident and investigation.
