Career prep is most effective when it begins long before graduation. For Cal State Fullerton <a href="https://business.fullerton.edu/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>College of Business and Economics students, knowing how to build professional skills, gain meaningful experience and ultimately launch a career requires intentional development over time. The new Titan Business EDGE program provides that pathway through a four-year progression from exploration to launch.
“Career readiness should not be discovered by chance or only when students begin looking for their first job,” said Kate Guerrero, head of Business Career Services that oversees the program. “Titan Business EDGE creates an intentional pathway introducing every business student to the career preparation and skills they need throughout their college journey. By embedding this work into the student experience, we are providing equitable access to career resources and ensuring all students understand the fundamentals of preparing for and navigating a successful career.”
The Titan Business EDGE framework is organized around four stages: Explore, Differentiate, Go Beyond and Execute. Each stage builds on the previous year, connecting career preparation to students’ academic and professional development.
