Saba Ali Khan Pataudi, Kareena Kapoor Khan

Saba Ali Khan Pataudi has firmly dismissed online speculation that her sister-in-law, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, is expecting her third child, urging the public and paparazzi to respect the actor’s privacy.

The speculation gained momentum after a paparazzi video showed Kareena stepping out of a gym. A team member was seen holding an umbrella to shield her from photographers, while some social media users claimed the actor appeared to have a baby bump.

Saba subsequently addressed the speculation on her Instagram Stories, calling out the assumptions surrounding Kareena’s appearance.

Sharing a picture of the actor, she wrote, “A bad angle … Or a bad hair day! How can everyone assume another extreme!!”

Saba also pointed to Kareena’s appearance while leaving the airport just days earlier, noting that she had looked “slick, classy, and slim”, and suggested that the gym video had simply been misinterpreted.

She ended her message with a direct appeal for privacy, writing, “Live n let live, guys. Some things are left private. No speculation needed. With love n respect.”

Adding a lighthearted touch, Saba also joked about her own family, saying she had been trying to convince her sister, Soha Ali Khan, to have a second child. “Wish that was true! She’ll kill me for saying it!” she wrote.

This is not the first time Kareena has faced pregnancy speculation. In July 2022, during a family holiday in Europe with husband Saif Ali Khan and their sons, an angled photograph led to similar claims.

Kareena responded to those rumours with humour on Instagram, writing, “It’s the pasta and wine guys…calm down…I am not pregnant.. uff..Saif says he has already contributed way too much to the population of our country…enjoy…KKK,” with laughing emoticons.

On the work front, Kareena’s upcoming theatrical release is ‘Daayra’, an investigative crime thriller scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 18, 2026.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, the film also stars Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The film is jointly produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios.
