The International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) will hold its 2027 Annual Meeting May 18–21, 2027, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC 1) in Cape Town, South Africa. The in-person meeting is expected to draw an estimated 2,000-plus autism researchers, clinicians and community partners from around the world.
The scientific program has not yet been published. INSAR <a href="https://industrymovement.com/merseyrail-boss-says-e/” title=”Merseyrail boss says e”>says keynote speakers, pre-conference programs and special events will be announced as they are confirmed, and registration rates and opening dates are still to come. The Scientific Program Committee is accepting proposals for panels, posters and oral presentations through October 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, with acceptance notices scheduled to go out by January 28, 2027. Because the meeting is planned as an in-person event, accepted abstracts must be presented on site.
INSAR is a nonprofit scientific society whose stated mission is to promote and disseminate high-quality autism research globally, and its annual meeting is one of the main venues where new autism science is presented. The program leans heavily toward research, but it draws a share of behavior analysts and ABA organizations tracking emerging evidence on early intervention, assessment and outcomes that can shape clinical practice and payer policy.
