Clavicular is breaking down what he claims really happened on the night of his suspected drug overdose.

“I mean I just, literally, had not eaten that day, consumed too much alcohol, and just knocked out a little bit,” Clavicular, 20, explains in Us’ exclusive sneak peek of his Tuesday, July 21, appearance on the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast.

The influencer (real name Braden Peters) insists, “I didn’t overdose or anything.”

After host Sean Hannity asks, “So you drank on an empty stomach?” Clavicular says, “Pretty much, yeah.”

Braden Peters, the internet personality known as Clavicular, was hospitalized in April 2026 after a “suspected overdose” during a livestream. Us Weekly confirmed in the late hours on April 14, 2026, that Clavicular “suffered a suspected overdose” during a livestream and was subsequently hospitalized. The stream was cut short after he appeared disoriented while sitting […]

He then notes that fans made a lot out of nothing after he passed out mid-livestream in April and later posted a picture of himself with blood on his face as a result of the now-viral incident.

“I mean, what? People are acting like they’ve never passed out from drinking a little too much at 20 years old,” Clavicular says. “It happens literally all the time in college. It wasn’t a big thing.”

Clavicular, who has become a controversial figure for his participation in the increasingly popular looksmaxxing community, claims the situation was “misreported, intentionally” to make him “go viral before a club opening.” (Looksmaxxing refers to a group of men who “obsess over physical self-improvement in the hope that it’ll improve their dating odds,” according to a GQ story published earlier this year.)

The model admits that he wasn’t “frustrated” by what he claims was an overblown story, adding, “The intended goal was hit, right? It went extremely viral, and then you had the club opening.”

Us previously confirmed that Clavicular had “suffered a suspected overdose” during a livestream on April 14 and had “since been hospitalized.”

The incident went viral after Clavicular, who was streaming alongside a group of friends at the time, appeared visibly disoriented. “How f***ed up are you?” one friend asked, to which Clavicular responded that he was “shot.”

As the video continued, Clavicular appeared to start slipping in and out of consciousness, eventually resting his head on a friend’s shoulder before the steam came to an abrupt end.

Braden Peters, the 20-year-old influencer known online as Clavicular, went viral when he abruptly ended a sit-down with 60 Minutes Australia correspondent Adam Hegarty two days before being hospitalized for a suspected overdose. The interview, which aired on April 12, was centered on the “looksmaxxing” community — an online movement of young men pursuing extreme […]

Clavicular — who alleged he tapped his face with a hammer to get chiseled cheekbones — broke his silence regarding the livestream incident the following day and after a visit to a local hospital.

“Just got home, that was brutal,” he shared via X on April 15. “All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution.”

The internet star added, “The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.”

That same day, Clavicular, who has more than 970,000 followers on Instagram at the time of publication, vowed in another livestream to stay off “substances” in wake of the scare.

Clavicular is apparently out to prove that seeing really is believing. The controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer — real name Braden Peter — is raising eyebrows once again after he decided to livestream his rhinoplasty for curious fans and devoted followers. Peters, 20, headed to the office of Dr. Michael Salzhauer — better known online as Dr. […]

“I think I have to figure something else out. I have to figure out a new method. Either practice mogging sober or just find a new form of content,” he said.

While Clavicular navigated his next moves after the incident, Us confirmed on April 16 that his rep quit working for the influencer following the health scare.

“Clavicular’s PR person Mitchell Jackson has quit working with the streamer until he agrees to get treatment for his addiction,” journalist Taylor Lorenz, who was first to report the news, wrote via X at the time. “Clavicular recently left the hospital against medical advice after an OD incident.”
