Stepping on stage at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Friday, October 18, she surprised fans and Swifties everywhere with her style, including the first Reputation outfit that’s diverged from the original over five continents and 130 shows since the tour kicked off in May 2023.
Swift, 34, and her longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, have meticulously curated the wardrobe, crafting a visual journey through every musical era. By selecting designers who can embody the essence of each album, they’ve created iconic looks that resonate with fans.
The duo has also introduced fresh interpretations of familiar styles, such as the navy bodysuits that shimmered during the Midnights sets or the ethereal Alberta Ferretti maxi dresses that captured the spirit of Folklore and Evermore.
Now, they have reimagined her Reputation catsuit, swapping the bold, black-and-red Roberto Cavalli number for a new version with one leg exposed. Embroidered with a three-dimensional cobra that coiled around her body, the snake faced upwards and was coated in black bezels, crystal stones and gold baguettes, adding a Midas touch to the ensemble’s edgy aesthetic.
Many Swifties are speculating that reviving the Reputation outfit hints at a possible re-recording of the album, following successful re-releases of 1989, Speak Now, Red and Fearless.
One thing’s for certain: The costumes revealed last night are also in line with fall’s biggest trends, from one-legged pants and jewel tones to statement faux-fur coats and fringe galore.
