The childhood home of Oscar Piastri has been pulled from the market.
The mother of Australian F1 star Oscar Piastri has pulled back on plans to sell the Bayside home he spent part of his childhood in.
Locals have indicated to the Herald Sun that Nicole Piastri, whose home was listed in April for $6.5m, has changed her plans to sell the family home he grew up in.
Piastri has become one of the nation’s most successful F1 drivers, matching Mark Webber’s nine Grand Prix wins with a major season in 2025 that included seven victories for McLaren.

This year he is ranked 7th in the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship, with two podium finishes in the first 11 rounds.
In a disastrous start to the year he was unable to take the starting grid for the Melbourne Grand Prix, despite qualifying fifth, after a crash during the formation lap.
The Piastri’s Brighton family home has been described as one of the few places in the world where the F1 star can just be himself.

In an interview with the Herald Sun earlier in the year, Ms Piastri said the Bayside home was one of the few places in the world “where he gets to be just Oscar”.
It was virtually built new for the family in Piastri’s youth, and hosted himself and sisters Hattie, Mae and Edie.
It’s likely Ms Piastri’s decision means that will continue for Australia’s biggest name in motorsports today.
Jellis Craig Nick Johnstone’s Nick Johnstone was slated to handle the sale, which had a $6.5m asking price earlier in the year.
The home had been marketed with hopes of a $6.5m sale.

The go-to agent for Melbourne’s elite in the area would not discuss the listing when contacted about the property’s disappearance from online portals.
However, the Herald Sun understands the family now intend to retain the residence.
