The Council of Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBanks) lauded this week’s release of a report from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), which highlighted the banks’ growth in support of affordable housing and community development efforts in 2023. The report detailed FHLBanks’ activity across several programs that include the Affordable Housing Program (AHP), the Community Investment Program (CIP), the Community Investment Cash Advance Program (CICA) and other “voluntary targeted mission-activity programs,” according to the report. A drone has been “launched towards” the private residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the coastal town of Caesarea, his office has said. “The prime minister and his wife were not at the location, and there were no injuries in the incident,” a statement said.
