Jay Cutler and girlfriend Samantha Robertson stepped back into the spotlight just two weeks after the former NFL quarterback’s DUI arrest.
The couple, who have been dating since October 2023, attended the premiere party for Yellowstone season 5B in New York City on Thursday, November 7. Cutler, 41, paired a black button up with dark wash jeans and a charcoal suit jacket. Robertson, for her part, donned a long-sleeve black dress that showed off some leg courtesy of a high slit.
Robertson and Cutler posed for photos at the event. In one snap, Robertson held a wine glass while Cutler’s hands were empty. The pair were also pictured posing alongside reality TV star Bethenny Frankel and her new boyfriend, Tom Villante.
Before the event, Cutler and Robertson were spotted dining at Le Bernadin. Robertson shared a series of snaps of the twosome’s meal on her Instagram Story. One pic included a plate of caviar, while the other featured Cutler sitting at the table with a glass of red wine next to his entrée.

Last month, Us confirmed that Cutler was charged with driving under the influence and booked at the Williamson County Jail in Franklin, Tennessee. The retired football player was also charged with failure to exercise due care, violation of implied consent law and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
According to documents obtained by Us, Cutler allegedly tried to flee the scene after he rear-ended another car. The docs also claimed that Cutler offered the other driver involved in the alleged collision $2,000 to “not call the police.” The authorities arrived at the scene shortly after.

Law enforcement examined the cars to inspect for damage. Cutler denied being in a car accident. While no damage was found to Cutler’s truck, the docs noted that there was a “winch in the front” of the vehicle. The other car did have a “small dent” on the rear end.
During the police’s search of the vehicles, they found a “rifle” in the back seat and a “loaded Glock handgun” in the center console.

When the arresting officer spoke to Cutler, he noticed that the former quarterback was “staggering, swaying and heavy-footed while walking” while also displaying “bloodshot, glassy, red/pink, watery and dilated” eyes. Cutler refused a field sobriety test on-scene and was subsequently taken to a hospital to have a blood sample taken.
Cutler was booked at the Williamson County Jail in Nashville. He posted bond and was released a few hours later.
Cutler has not publicly addressed his DUI arrest, but a source exclusively told Us that he is trying to move forward from the incident.
“Jay is acting like everything is normal,” the insider said in October. “He’s not letting the arrest and DUI get to him.”
