Gisele Bündchen is showing off her baby bump — and stepping out in Miami — after news broke she is pregnant and expecting her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
Bündchen, 44, was seen on Thursday, October 31, wearing a little black dress that revealed her growing belly while running errands, per photos obtained by Us Weekly.
The pregnant model looked casual and cool in the wrap dress, carrying an oversized tote bag. Bündchen completed her maternity outfit with a pair of black flip flops and tortoise colored sunglasses. The former Victoria Secret angel opted to wear her hair in a loose braid.
Bündchen’s outing came just days after a source confirmed to People on Monday, October 28, that she and Valente, 36, are expecting their first child together, her third. (Bündchen shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with ex-husband Tom Brady. She is also stepmother to Brady’s son Jack, 17, whom Brady, 47, shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.)
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” the insider shared with the outlet on Monday.
In January 2023, Brazilian supermodel Bündchen and the Jiu-Jitsu instructor were first spotted on a run together, however, things didn’t turn romantic until summer 2023.
“Joaquim was there for Gisele through her divorce, as a friend, and they turned romantic this past summer,” a source told Us in February, noting that Valente and Bündchen share “similar lifestyles” and are both “dedicated to fitness and nutrition.”
The insider explained to Us that Bündchen “loves being with someone who is from Brazil.”
“They both have a shared history that she hasn’t had with anyone she’s dated,” the source shared, adding that Valente is “amazing” with her kids.
Nearly two years ago, Bündchen and Brady announced that the duo were calling it quits after more than a decade of marriage.
“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” Brady wrote via Instagram Stories in October 2022. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
Brady noted that it was “painful and difficult” to choose to close a chapter with Bündchen.
“However, we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written,” he noted. “And we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you.”
In March, Bündchen opened up about her “heartbreaking” divorce from Brady, explaining that it was “definitely a transition that had to take place.”
“I have [had] incredible experiences, I learned so much. I have my children which are the biggest blessing in my life,” she shared during the Impact x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain special on Hulu. “Now, I get to create a new season, a new chapter in my life. I get to walk my path in a different way.”
